In the state of Texas, if you get caught without your headlights on, do you get a ticket or just a warning?

Warning unless it happens twice in a row and you've been stopped by the same cop.

That is completely up to the cop. Most cops would just give you a warning unless, of course, you piss them off. But they certainly could give you a ticket.

Texas? What are you Al-kay-duh? Driving without your headlights on. Don't they shoot you for that.

Unless the cop is a Nazi storm trooper, you shouldn't get either. Cops can do pretty much anything they want, and you've got to take it. In Houston a few years ago, two cops arrested a girl leaving a night club, took her to the woods and repeatedly raped her, then threw her in jail for being drunk. They got six weeks probation.
