  • You need to consult an attorney specializing in family law, but if you have overwhelming evidence that your son presents a threat to others in your household, specifically o other minor children, you should be able to have the 17 year old emancipated (no longer a minor and responsible for the results of his actions), at which point you will be able to have him removed from your household and placed under a peace bond and/or restraining order, preventing him from contacting you and/or other family members or from attempting to regain access to your residence.
