If you do not currently use sex toys, then you need to discuss this up front. Probably via watching a porno and seeing one. Find a porn on the web and then be watching it when she comes into the room (say a friend sent it to you). When she looks and sees the toy, ask her "that looks nice, should we give that a try?". Then see how they react. If you currently use sex toys and are therefore experts, then just whip it out during sex and say "lets try this!". Unless it is something abnormal (e.g. a blow up doll!) I think the above will work.
