No. I was so disappointed in the lack of authenticity in how the Wii reads the boxing that I assumed the Wii Fit would also not be a good gauge of fitness.
I didn't get "sucked into" buying a Wii Fit.....I LOVE IT....I'm in Wisconsin and it's some good indoor exercise....I'd recommend it.

My sister bought it, and she never plays it. I think it's cute and fun for a while. I dont think it's worth all the hype though.
didnt even buy a wii, i think its a silly thing . i prefer traditional conrollers

I got one at Christmas and used it for an hour each day and am now down clothes sizes and am healthy without any change in my diet

Oh, really? I don't have the Wii, but I played the boxing gave at a friends house, and it seemed to work surprisingly well. Maybe it was just the way it was set up. I dunno.

You can barely move your hand and it registers the same as a full arm swing. In competition, that is just lame.
