Well, the people that HAVE your car said not for 24 hours. My guess would be the only way I would get it back sooner, would be to steal it back.

If the balance of a car loan less than 10% owed, mainly their late fees , is written off to bad debt can they still repo the car

You're reading Car repo'd in CA. Called to pay past due & get it released, however they refused payment indicating a reinstatement amt that could take 24+ hrs to receive after info request. Therefore can't get car back today. Is there any way to get my car back today?

Thank you for your answer ... It's the finance company that is refusing to receive the payment. The people that HAVE my car have indicated that if I pay the past due that there is NO reason to NOT get it back today. Therefore I have to assume that there must be SOME way to get it back today.
