Help answer this question below.
41.5 hours, not including court.
I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.
No, wait, I'm confusing myself with the guy in "Office Space" again.
I'm at work 8 1/2 hours a day. Subtract half hour for lunch, two 15-minute breaks, and maybe about another 15 minutes--well, okay, maybe even half hour of "messing around" makes 7-7 1/4 hours a day. So that'd be 35-36 1/4 hours a week.
Zero. I'm taking a year off.
40 up to 60..depending on whether or not we are working short
With the Military I only work 12 hours a week now, because I have stepped down to the reserves. And working as a mail sorter that's 30 hours a week. So in total I do 42 hours.
Plus!
I do voluntary work for S.E.S (Special Emergency Services) so that can vary.
So technically in total at least 50 hours a week
It varies, but usually 30-40.
Edit: I would say more like 20-25 now.
39 hours that does not include being a mum
Supposed to 40. Realistically 55-60. The most ever 92.
It's a 2-way street. I'm an engineer. Sometimes behind my desk I can't help thinking about other things than work, and sometimes at night I jump out of bed to make notes of a work related problem/challenge.
0 right now... used to be anywhere from 2 to 7 depending on how many work orders i had
56 hours of work at school.
I'm 12 so no work worries!
JEALOUS???
my office job is 40hr per week and my bar job is roughly 20hrs a week. 60hr in total... and i hate every second of it.
60 hours per week pluse overtime, special details-Extra-Duty) and court. Not to mention emergency response call-outs.
Enough to earn my salary in fact most of the time with the reearch a lot more than I need
I have 2 jobs, I work 37 hours per week in the daytime job, and I have recently started a second job where I work 6-12pm 2 nights per week, so that's 49 hours a week altogether.
Anywhere from 40 to 84....All depends on how shorthanded we are
32-56, depending on the need at the hospital.
40-60. Depending on the week.
Ugh... thanks for reminding me.
I wish I could follow this up with a crappy joke about how I don't actually do 40-60 hours worth of work...
My work week is 37.5 hours for full time, and I work probably 45 on average. I would say in the average week there is a total of about an hour in which I'm chatting with co-workers about things that aren't work related. Right now I'm having to cover for the receptionist so I'm browsing AB while answering phones!

Usually 5, unless something is going on (upgrades, problems) that requires some weekend work.
6 days a week
0, Zero, Nada, Nil, none.
I get a good 2-3 goof-off, on the 'net or reading, hours per shift (8 hour shifts), scattered in 10 to 20 minute intervals. Of course, it depends upon how busy the hospital is, especially the ER. Sometimes it is hectic all night and you never know when it is going to be hectic. It is also busier on the full moon... no, that is not an urban legend. I do not know why things are more hectic on the full moon but they are.
When I was working as an industrial nurse, most of the shift was goof-off, but on the ready, time.
I always work night shift.
I average anywhere from 12- 14 hours a day. Monday to Friday. I get paid hourly.
I work 8 but am on call 24/7 since its the military and i dont really get paid hourly but i get a salary...which is really low
12. I am also paid for 12...unless it is overtime.
Full-time at our agency is 37.5 hours. I work anywhere from 37.5 to 48 hours per week.
I dropped down to 20 hours a week to go to school. (Pre-emptive strike, so no school hours atm.)
38.75 hours/week at work ... Better than most I guess. I'd love to be able to afford to work part time
G'day Eddie1,
Thank you for your question.
I would work 44-45 hours a week.
Regards
I attend school 18 hours a week + spend about 36 hours a week studying = 54 hours per week towards my education.
Well... over a two week pay period I work 80 hours, so I average 40 hours a week...
But, this week, I am working 36 hours (Four 9 hour days) and next week I will be working 44 (four 9 hour days and one 8 hour day). I do this so that I have every other monday off.
35hrs contract at my administration day job ( give or take 5 hours a week) and 20 hours on average a week at my pub job. Need money for university!
I'd say 50-80. I'm a stay at home mom who does work with a non profit as well. Both keep me pretty busy.
Five, generic run-of-the-mill five.
I put in 40 hours per week / 8 hours per day. I am not 100% productive that entire time and I get time off for lunch. Some weeks I am 110% productive due to the type of issues to be resolved and others I am only 90% productive. Being in a middle management position on salary doing telework has its benefits.
I just changed accounts because the hours were too much and the leadership team was unethical. Six weeks ago I was putting in 14 hours day, plus being on standby and called all hours of the day and night for every little thing. I was only getting to see my son an hour a night which was completely unacceptable.
As few as I can actually get away with.
About 7 - 15 hours of actual hands on time and about 3 - 7 hours of prep work , paper work, and waiting for clients to show.
Ok I'll try to break it down
I deal blackjack, so I deal for 40 minutes, then I go on a twenty minute break. I work a ten hour day so let the math begin....
so if 1/3 of every hour is spent on break - then that equals 3.33 hours of break time each night X 4 nights a week = 13.32 hours of break for every 40 hours I'm there.
but sometimes there won't be anyone at the table to deal to, so I just stand there and look stupid. I'd say that on a given week, I stand at a dead table for roughly 4-5 hours.
So, While I get paid for 40 hours, I actually only 'work' a little over 22 of them. (40 - 13.32 - 4.5 = 22.18)
None. I'm jobless lol. XD
6 usually but I don't actually work more than 25 hours during those days, and I am a full timer.
7 days a week.
Before I became the manager of produce, I worked 30 on average. I now work anywhere from 35 to 59! On average 41-43 hours and get paid for each one!
Out of the 40hrs I am at work, I would probably say on average about 10-12 per week. NOTE ITS ALL ABOUT APPEARANCES IN WHAT YOUR DOING!
Minimally, every day. It's called housework. A fate for the disabled woman who holds no job.
Probably 2 or 3. I'm retired and people with some serious health problems pay me money for doing odd jobs around their homes.
None.I'm a student.
5 days per week, if everything is ok.

Out of curiosity, how many hours do you guys spend in court in an average week?
by Andy Is Wicked Married to Penal Colony on February 10th, 2007
vice squad officers spend a ton of time in court and make fantastic overtime pay in the 6 figures. i generally spend about 6 hours a week. it depends on a lot of circumstances.
