AFTER DOWNLOADING 30 DAY FREE TRIAL OF COREL WINDVD 9 PLAYER VRSION, I AM UNABLE TO OPEN COREL WINDVD9 VERSION, 30 DAY FREE TRIAL. I'VE DOWNLOADED THE 178MB FILE THRICE, IT SHOWS SAVED IN ' MY DOCUMENTS ', YET EVRYTIME THE EXPIRED TRIAL BOX OPENS. HELP.

    When you download and install just about any "time limited free trial" these days, the installation software puts a little file in your windows registry that will stop you from re installing that particular software. If you can find that file, theoretically you could alter or change it back to it's original state, but messing around in the registry trying to find one partcilar registry value out of tens of thousands? You'd have better luck winning the lottery not to mention the possibility that you'd mess up your registry to the point that your PC doesn't even boot up.
    Time to bite the bullet and either:
    1/ Buy the licence key ,use the software legally and have access to software updates.
    2/ Discontinue use of the software
    3/ If you want it that badly, low level format your hard drive, lose everything you have (unless oyu've backed it up), reinstall windows and everything you need and then re install that trial again. 30 days later you'll be back to square one.
