I believe it should be the transmission of knowledge and understanding, so each generation does not need to reinvent the wheel.

- I'm trying to understand this mr philosopher saint, do you mean like in developing our ability in understanding what our senses are telling us. Reaching other levels of awareness like in meditation or something else. I'm not very fond of philosophical terms :P

Like any other species, survival should be our goal. But all to often personal survival gets in the way of survival of the species and flluuuup! the book goes out the window as some big wig has relations with a gender challenged individual (trying to stay PC here).

honestly,
people are just human, so its not going to happen. but if it did, learning. there is so much we dont know, un-answered questions. maybe we should try and answer them. i am always a sucker for terraforming, lets take over the universe until there are so many people, its pretty much guaranteed that humanity will live until the end of the universe.
meh, but what do i know? i smoke way too much pot

To only deal with one another in person when and where absolutely necessary and when we do, to be like the Japanese and assume that everyone is an idiot and live accordingly in a kind of false yet decidedly polite acceptance that needs no words gestures or speech to prove what is already apparent... Just stay the hell away from one another.

If we are too have a goal in the first place, it would be to take the time and space that was given to us and use it in a productive manor in order to keep 'life' alive. (Not just humans beings, but all forms of life)

But then again that is not really a goal, more of a guideline of what we should aim for, but who's to say this is the right way to go about it.

Life will find a way, it is always changing, I think we need to adapt with it, instead of forcing it to adapt to us.
