Help answer this question below.
What I've found works wonders for me is not to use a towel directly after a shower, but apply baby lotion to my skin while I'm soaking wet (I find that if I use a towel first, I end up being too oily). it doesn't take a lot of baby oil, just a few drops. The water on your skin will dilute the oil, and the oil helps trap moisture in.
If you're concerned about clogging your pores, you can get a lighter body oil instead (I know Neutragena makes one). The trick is to use the oil before toweling off, while soaking wet.
In the winter, when my skin gets very, very dry, I sometimes apply a body lotion half an hour or so after the oil has soaked in.
This is probably a bit more tangential, but drinking plenty of water is very helpful in maintaining a good complexion and hydrated skin too. :)
i agree with te above two replies, but don't use naything manufactured by beauty compnaies. The best things are extra virgin, cold pressed organic coconut oil and extra virgin codl pressed organic olive oil.
I personally prefer the cocnout oil, applied in the way that the first user described. straight after shower. even do it to my wet hair and scalp. I have lovely soft, manageable hair and people are always telling me how lovely my skin looks.
Drink lots of water and sleep well.Eat a couple of tablespoonfuls of coconut oil daily. As much as you would like.
And in regards to hair, cocnut oil makes it so healthy. Best thing too, after I wash my hair, i apply a bit of coconut oil to my damp hair. Then I run a comb through it, once I have massaged the oil into my scalp, and I am all set to go, because as my hair dries, the style stays, withoutm e having to add any other stuff or do anythign to it. Don't apply too much though. Apply just a little bit.
However just a small word of caution, I have heard it said that coconut oil can darken hair, so if you don't want that, then just use olive oil. I have jet black hair natually, so dark hair for me is natural is I have no way of confirming or denying htis. All I know is cocnout oil really works, even better than olive oil! Just read up on it.
I also apply an organic hair maks every now and then. Too
I drink loads of water and moisturize my skin with White Tea and Ginger body lotion it smells nice and keeps my skin moist for hours!

Great answer. That's what I do. J&J baby oil while i'm still wet works wonders! Better than any lotion out there.
