how much does it cost who? the goverment,taxpayers,the public. to put your kid in a public school is free, the tax payers pay 5000 per child average, wich includes staff pay, utilities, and supplies. for each indivegual tax payer you'd have to know how many people with out kids that pay taxes are in the u.s then you divide 5000 by that number.
