I've just been sent my HDD from my old laptop and want to retrieve some files from it? How can i connect it? thanks

    The easiest way would be an external disk enclosure that you can put the drive in, then connect to your computer via USB. Try this link:

    Get an external case for it. You drop your hard drive into it, plug in the wires and then you treat it like any external drive. They come with the power supply and USB cable. Worthwhile.
