  • E6320 a 65nm fabrication piece running at 1.86GHz and power consumption of 65W. E7300 a 45nm fab running at 2.0GHz and power consumption of 65W. For this pair I would go with the E7300 as it is running faster with the same power consumed. As for the Core Stepping it is an indication of the design revision of the processor. Most processors go through many revisions throughout their "lifetime". Often these revision will fix bugs, others will allow the processor to be fabricated in a smaller size (ie. 45nm fab vice 65nm). The current core step for each of these indicate that the E7300 is the first version of this design(M0) and the E6320 is the second revision(2) of the second generation(B) of this design. This could indicate that the E6320 would probably be the more stable of the two processors and more able to handle any over-clocking and/or other rough treatment. Hope this helps.
