Help answer this question below.
Everyone uses both sides of the brain (unless you had a hemisphere removed!) I assume that both sides are used a bit more evenly in this case. However, I am not entirely sure how brain function works when it comes to "handedness".
After all you hear people who are "right brained" but also right handed. Which would "apparently" contradict.
Good question.
Everyone has a dominant side of the brain for most people it is the left making them right handed. Ambidextrous people have very little difference in the dominance of the two hemispheres allowing them to be equally dextrous with both sides of the body.
