You might try 'The Tomb' by F. Paul Wilson. I can't really remember if it could be considered a romantic novel, but it is supernatural in nature and quite exciting.
I know I know, it has vampires. But hear me out.
I suggest the Sookie Stackhouse Series (yes it was made into a TV show this year, but I have read them far longer.) It has romance, and although it has vampires, it also has shapeshifters (and werewolves, there's a distinction in the book), witches, and faeries so far.
Christopher Pike books. Christopher Pike is the author.
Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan book1 Eye Of The World
Runelords/earth power Dave Farland
Gloryroad R.A.Heinlein
Dies The Fire S.M.Stirling and his The Cage but that is a G/G romance but very good
R.A. Salvatore the Dritz Do Eren books not really romance, but the worlds most screwed up dark elf family as many daughters as you can give birth to but only 3 living sons ... momma's choice, odd one out gets sacrificed to the queen spider goddess / so sons be good to momma
Have you read any of the Immortal Series books? Those are really good. They are romance and they have Gods, witches, fairies, demons and all kinds of stuff. They are really good. I will tell you though that they have some pretty steamy parts in them. Also, these books are written by different people and so far there are 8 or 9 books out. There is also the Nora Roberts series out that has 3 books in it, they are the morrigans coss series. They have witches, warlocks, vampires and time travel in them. I read those 3 in about as many days. They are what really got me started on reading books about other things than mystery and romance novels.
this was a good book: Stephen King's Carrie

You might like the "Wicca" series.
It's really good.
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater (About a Werewolf)
Need by Carrie Jones (Werewolves, Pixies...)
Lament: The Faerie Queen’s Deception by Maggie Stiefvater (Faeries)
Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl (Casters)
Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick (Fallen Angel)
Elixir by Hilary Duff (Complicated but very cool and there are no vamps)
The Dark Secrets Series by Elizabeth Chandler (BEST BOOKS EVER)
None of these have vampires, and they are all really great reads.
Hope you find one that you like! (:
If I really want to get into the fantasy genre, which books do you recommend me reading? Which movies do you recommend me watching?

You're reading I am a 16yr old girl and I like to read books that are kinda supernatural and romance combined. Any suggestions that dont' have vampires would be appreciated.
