Has anyone ever tried to wake up from sleep and you cant move at all you can only open your eyes?

Absolutely, its horrible. There are a couple of sleep disorders that cause 'sleep paralysis'. Check out this link http://www.stanford.edu/~dement/paralysis.html

I find that its worse for me when I've 1. Had caffeine past 2pm 2. stayed up too late 3. Am fatigued or have a high stress level.

i get like that too maybe a couple times a year ever since i was a small child its like i wake up i can see everything in my room and i can hear my TV when its on but i cant move any part of me and i feel like i am going to suffocate and i desperately trying to move feels like forever i am not sure how long i am like that maybe a few seconds or minutes and i try to scream for help, but i cant my mouth wont move and i cant talk, but i know i am a wake and just cant move.
