How many pilots have ejected from a fighter aircraft, how many were injured during ejection, how many returned to flying

    I'm sorry to say that I don't know the numbers, but what I do know is that a pilot can only eject 3 times in his lifetime before he is no longer authorized to fly. That is due to the fact that your spine compresses an average of 1/2 an inch for every ejection.
