  • Well, Here's one suggestion, though if you don't want to spend any money, feel free to ignore this. You could get a Pelican Codebreaker (Used, since they've been discontinued), and even though it's meant to be used as a cheat device for games, it should have an option where you can format your memory card. V7.0 and up should be the ones you aim for, I don't think lower versions have the format option.
  • Just unscrew the ps2 memory card and take the two pieces apart, then you'll see the circuit-board inside. Yank it out (It might seem stuck, its because they've glued it, pull a bit harder and it should come out). Then remove the battery that's inside, put it back in and put the memory card back together. Then stick your memory card in the ps2 slot. Then go to the browser menu and select the memory card you inserted, the format option should be there.
