I think tht indoor soccer is a good way to stay shape in the winter. I play indoor and outdoor soccer. In indoor the fields are usually alot smaller so u must work on your footwork and ball handeling skils.

The rules for indoor soccer are listed on the site below (it's a link to the United States Indoor Soccer Association). Click the Rules link on the left panel for a .pdf file.

Indoor soccer has a much quicker pace than outdoor and is a great workout. Not to mention a way to stay sharp on your skills for select. Some of the rules are different.

I play indoor in trhe Winter and Outdoor in Summer. Form my experiance as being on a rec team, the teams in indoor are usually ALOT better. Sometimes we even play international teams. I think there is something about offsides. I really can't reme more playing time.mber right now because I haven't played indoor for 6 months. But it is alot quicker indoor. You are usually with a smaller team and there is no waiting for the ball to be thrown in. Coachs can people differant people in whenever they want, but it doesn't stop play time. So I would say outdoor is really fast, and you get more playing time
