I HAVE A VERY OLD GE TELEVISION MODEL 32GT600....TRYING TO HOOK UP A CHEAP DVD PLAYER FOR GRANDDAUGHTER TO WATCH...WHAT CHANNEL DOES THE SET NEED TO BE ON?

New DVD players,particularly the cheap ones, have only AV out, 2 for the audio and one for the video.
If you have a vcr, you can use that for the AV in to convert to RF channel 3 or 4 out to TV.
