Has anyone ever attended or considered attending UW-Madison for any portion of their college education? I don't want links to the school, I know how to do that, I want personal experiences as to why or why not to consider transferring there.

I know a few people that go there, and they love it!

I did not attend, but have several friends who did, and all of them speak of the school and the community with great appreciation. It's progressive, full of lively activity, and the faculty is A++++++.

I enjoyed it very much, both socially and academically. If you are not from a Northern climate, Madison may take some getting used to. And don't be swayed by it's liberal image(which I enjoyed). Madison is diverse. You will find a place to fit in anywhere on the political spectrum or not on the spectrum at all. Take advantage of the lakes, the theatre, the sports, State street. Occasionally go to class.

my wife got here degree there and was very happy with the school. i would really consider it good luck.
