A story to help you figure this out: When my daughter was very very little, the very first story she told us (she was 3 or 4) was that she had been a boy, her name had been ....., and that she had drowned. My wife did some checking and found that name in some records, found the cemetary, and yes, a young boy of that name had died. Freaked her out. Didn't bother me. (I'm open on the issue; neither believe nor disbelieve.) My daughter continued wanting to be a boy, and was quite a tomboy; taking to hunting, shooting, and other 'boy related' activities. One of her 'proud' moments which she had to call me in to see was her 'peeing' while standing up. She is, however, heterosexual, and while one tough girl, does not really recall any 'memories' of a previous life. Seemed to slip away some by the time she was 8, but the pattern was set.
