N corresponds to the length an orthogonal trajectory to abs(rsin(theta)) at r = infinity, starting and ending at the origin. This way, the absolute value of the "length" of the transformation is infinity. Negative N is N (the opposite transformation will yield the origin as well), M is N, and going from N back to M will yield the same result as going back to the origin. N also brings a point back to its start (the origin). That's what sense I can make of it, if it makes any sense at all.
