    Yes, in a microwave oven the temperature increase should kill them when the moisture in their bodies increases!

    The common Microwave Oven is a Radio "Transmitter" that operates at approximately 2450 Megahertz. When it pumps hundreds of watts of Electromagnetic power into materials, it causes them to heat to temperatures well above bacterial Sterilization. I think that if you can observe bacteria while they are subjected to this kind of power, you'll find them blasting apart. In other words, Yes!
