  • Not really with God, but definately a more clearer view of myself and my life etc..
  • Are you serious! You dont have a connection with God when you are tripping. It is against God and any religion to put drugs into your body. Your body is the Temple of God, so I really dont think he would be to happy when you're friggen high! What you are experiencing is a mild psychosis. Nothing to do with God, only the melting of a few hundred brain cells.
  • Yes, I believe in God and I took LSD once. No connection there.... I just talked & talked & talked...never did it again, curiosity was satisfied.
  • Some form of that is a pretty universal experience with psychedelics -- at least for those who don't just have a bad trip. These are legitimate spiritual experiences: but that doesn't mean you're actually talking to God... the interpretation of the experience is still very closely bound to your own beliefs and conditioning. People in animistic cultures (those which consider Nature to be holy, etc.) will not have the kind of monotheistic interpretations that you might have. The essence of spiritual experience is the dissolution of separate self and simultaneous reconnection with the Whole -- the FORM of "whole" varies by culture and individual. So in that sense, LSD is capable of catalyzing spiritual experience. However, I don't support using psychedelics, although when I was younger I did a lot of that. The problem is that they don't really put one on a legitimate path of discipline, ethics, and awareness training to produce sustainable transformation: most people who get their spirituality off of a blotter end up with a pretty incomplete and distorted form of it, in my experience. My suggestion is to lay off the drugs and take up a solid, well-rounded spiritual discipline. I'm a Zen practitioner myself, and I can testify that all of those LSD-flavored spiritual experiences of my youth have come back in much richer dimension thanks to steady practice and effort walking the path.
  • thinking about God once took me out of bad trip, but any positive thoughts can do it. Sometimes i feel conection with God on psychedelics, but when you are tripping you can feel a strong connection with any object, and i'm not sure if these feelings are so true as they seem. Psychedelics also often helps to join ideas of many religions and philosophies into one.
  • The feelings you have may only be from the drug, no real religious connection.... but some of the shit you learn on a religious trip changes your life forever.
  • i dont think you will have a true conncetion with god. but you may very well understand yourself and what your religion means through introspection.
