You're reading My husband & friends were driving back from a trip. My husband let his friend drive for a while. A deer ran in front of the car & the friend flipped and totaled our SUV. Friend has full coverage & we live in TX. Whose ins pays? No other cars involved.

We only had liability since our car was paid for. 1999 toyota 4-runner. So would our insurance pay anything since there were no other cars involved? what about whiplash injuries to the 3 passengers?

They'll pay for the bodily injuries up to the policy limits, which are set at a per person & per accident limit (unless you have CSL - combined single limit). Your friend's policy should pick up where yours leaves off. Your insurance will NOT pay for damage to your vehicle. If your friend has full coverage on his car, you might get his insurance to pay for it, but it will be a fight.
