I am interested in learing "how to secure" a closet door track to a concrete slab over existing carpet flooring. The door assembly and track come with a wooden runner which obviously is meant to be secured to the concrete before the carpet is install

    You need a hammer drill and special screws. Be careful when drilling because it will snag the threads of your carpet and unravel it, cut a good sized hole where you are going to drill.
