i only ever did 1 minute fully dressed.
the lady we had for a nude figure never really seemed awkward until she seen my drawing of her :( haha i forgot to include her head. so it was just naked woman spralled out on chair
Yes I have, I work part-time as an art model.
The first time I did it was really awkward for the first like 10 mins, after that it was okay. A couple of other occasions it was awkward but then you become okay with it. Like I had to do an artistic anatomy class because it was my firsts large class I had to model for and I had to just be standing and facing the class, that was awkward for a bit facing the class while everyone is staring at you the whole time. And it happened a couple of other times too in other circemstnces. Its only awkward for the first several minutes then you get used to it and its no big deal. Its not a job for everyone, I dont think some people can handle it, but if you can then its only awkward at first.
I have at first it was a little weird but after a while it was cool.
Yes I have and yes it was. My neighbor talked me into it and it was 37years ago. There were three rooms one a bathroom between the two large rooms. The lady in charge, my neighbor, and I went onto the third room alone and the woman in charge explained the poses and what not. There would be only two. One reclining on a couch with one leg on top of the couch and me turned toward the group so they would get a clear look at the genitals. The second pose was to be announced in the sitting room.
While talking she had me undress and hung up my clothes in the room's closet or folded the underwear. The last item I took off was my undershorts. When I was naked she gave me a towel to put on.
She went into the sitting room and announced the start and closed the door. As we walked through the bathroom she advised going before we started. She took the large towel and held it and diverted her eyes but my neighbor stared and smiled. All of this undressing and the neighbor lady watching me was very awkward.
Also awkward was walking into the sitting room. The class was a combination of housewives and seniors all women but maybe one man. I got into the pose and it got less awkward as time went on. After this pose there were thanks but time to get into the new pose. This was standing with my back towards the class, my legs wide apart, and bent over at the waist so that the class could draw this difficult area from a live subject.
When done the class came over to say thank you while I was standing strait up but naked. Soon the lady in charge, my neighbor, and I went out. When we went through the bathroom the lady in charge held out her hand and took the towel and went into the other room so I could go again. I joined them and she was opening a bottle of wine and said it would be better to stay here a while to let the class leave the site. We drank some wine, had a cigarette and talked and it was not awkward even though I was standing there naked. I got used to it and it did not bother me at all by then. I got dressed with them passing me my clothes one article at a time.
Yes, I have posed for art classes, it's my occupation. I guess it can be awkward at times. I have gotten used to being infront of the class completely naked. It can be awkward when erections happen, especially when it's one of those days when it won't go away.
I'm wondering what should I draw my boyfriend for his 31st birthday this year since I don't have any ideas what to draw him?

You're reading Have you ever posed for an art class? Was it as awkward as it seems?
