Help answer this question below.
I'll be happy if the earth is still supporting life in 20 years. I don't imagine I'll be worrying about playing old movies.
Only for specialized functions. It is doubtful that manufacturers will still produce the DVD/VCR combo as both will be obsolete and those who still have a need for either will likely want the individual unit, for use as an individual tool.
In 20 years I expect the concept of movie/data storage to be a non-issue. Expect localized data, either in corporate or government memory banks, or in personal computing systems, that is infinitely accessible from anywhere, without the need to store information on a physical storage unit.
lol i havent seen vcr's in a long time do they even make those still?
I doubt there will even be DVD players. I think everything will be downloaded, or at least, most things that can be put into digital format.
Only collectors will still own them.
There are DVD/VCR units now.
I dont think so , I guess even tools to convert VCR to CD and DVD wont be used by 20 yrs .
It will be a blu ray with something new combined.
And a George foremann
No. Expect the equivalent of "memory sticks" to take over.
Only as collector's items.
