How do I fix a DNS error(8041040F) on the PSP?

go to your computer. go to start. right click on network places.right click porperties. right click on local are conection. clivk properties. ckeck propertis in internet protical. Enter those numers in the psp. The Ips and the DNS.

well its preatty easy. you kno when you set your connecton up and thn in some cases it comes up with every thing u have entered including its own mac address, but at the bottom it says "internet connection:failed" well all u av to do is get your DNS from command promt "enter ipconfig in the command promt for dns" then enter your dns to the web browser, then it should take to to this site, on the lefthand side there is an option called "wireless" click on tht then there should be an option for your wep key, under that there's another option called register new station, click "apply" name it wateva u want say "yes" to allow, then enter the mac address which u get on ur psp wen u set the connecton up. then click register and ur done!

there is an easier way to get your dns and ip address click start..... go to run and type CMD or COMMAND..... a black screen with appear....... then type IPCONFIG to get those numbers. you can also flushdns by type IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS as well as IPCONFIG /RENEW
