Question

Help answer this question below.

I started YAZ about 3 weeks ago just to regulate my cycle. My husband and I do want to have a baby, is there anything I can do to possibly trick my body, like should I miss a pill or 2, I know this is silly, but I am willing to try anything.

    Did you tell your doctor that you are wanting to conceive? The only rational thing to do is to Stop taking the birth control, if you do skip a pill and happen to get pregnant, the pill could cause an abortion of the fetus. I recommend you speak with your doctor asap, they would be able to give you your best options!

    Get off the pill if you are trying to conceive. Missing pills will only further irregulate your cycle and if you DO end up pregnant while taking the pill the baby could end up with birth defects.

    The good news is that when you stop taking the pill, your chances of conceiving will actually be greater than normal for the first month or so.

    I also suggest you get an ovulation calendar and start tracking your cycle and taking your temperature each day (your temperature will go up when you're ovulating). There may be some method to it, but it may take some figuring out!

    Get off the pill and concive ~ 9 months latter get on the pill. Taking BCP while pregnent can hurt the child/abort. If you want to concive you should be focuse your body towards that.
