-- For Richard Nixon in "Watchmen"
Bought today the graphic novel (DC Comics), so I can read the full story. Alan Moore, writer - Dave Gibbons, illustrator, letterer - John Higgins, colorist. Retail new: $19.99. (I got 15% discount off that)
-- For Ronald Reagan in "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns"
Again went an available trade paperback vs inidividual books. Shoot, it's a Frank Miller project, so not a lot to lose by reading the full story! Again, it's DC Comics. $14.99 retail minus 20% discount.
-- For Barack Obama in "The Amazing Spiderman #583" - seems it's already out and in people's hands who pre-ordered it. To order now, it's already in 4th printing! Saw one today (held for another customer). Cover is GREAT. Obama's face fills the cover, then there's a smaller Spidey hanging down in upper right corner. He says something like .. if he give Barack cover of his book, will Barack put Spidey on a $1 bill. LOL!!

For John F Kennedy and Bill Clinton - we talked about how to find them. I asked if ebay might not be a good way. Fellow got online and sure enough - both were "out there".
He's thinking that the "Superman vs Muhammad Ali" (Jimmy Carter) is - as you noted - an image on the cover - but isn't in any storyline inside.
Soooo .. I'm going to try online hunting at both a vendor site I like .. and ebay .. and just see what happens.
And there you have it. One field report .. over and out! LOL

LOL! I'm amazed that you were even able to find "Watchmen" with Nixon in it. I sort of want to go out and look for some of these, too (to see if I can find any of them). I'm not sure if I will though. I don't really collect comic books (although I do have a few...somewhere...with my sports cards).
Good luck with the online searches. I did find a few of them on eBay when I was looking for some images.

debtahals, I remember seeing the show Witchblade on TNT. I think I knew that it was based on a comic book. I did not know that they had an X-Files comic book. And the Anita Blake one is a total mystery to me.

Witchblade, the TNT tv series ended before it was time. A shame, that. You have to go far over on the spectrum for Anita Blake. She is a charaater from Laurell K Hamiton (many published books with that character). The comics are a take-off on those. Main character is a vampire hunter. I'm reading a 6 part miniseries to see if I like it or not.
All very different from my "Spectacular Spiderman" days! lol But fun to see what's out there now. Shoot, I read "Wonder Woman" still. Did you ever read any Justice League books?

No, I didn't. I'm only familiar with them from the cartoon series Super Friends (and I don't really remember those all that well). That's how I got into Spiderman, actually. I saw the cartoons, and then realized that they had a comic book. : )

Hmmm...then it gets a little messy and dangerous. Do you have a nail and a hammer? I'll assume you do. Be careful when you do this. Don't want to pound the nail through the can completely. (Oh, and make sure to sterilize the nail first.) Basically, just go around the can tapping the nail through the top. If you need to get some spots in between the holes, you can use a screwdriver (like a chisel...you'll be hitting it with the hammer) for that.

Do you have a Swiss Army knife or one of those Leatherman tools (those all purpose things with the pliers and knives)? Some of those have that can opener tool on them (like that thing I was talking about before).
I've seen some people do this with a knife, but it's dangerous and takes a lot of work.

That's the only drawback...but it's free. And you might have some difficulty finding some of those older films. I don't know if you've seen those two zombie movies, but I think they deal with voodoo zombies and not the Hollywood zombies.
