We have a tiny, one-person kitchen in this downtown condo, so functional all the way.

Well, there are things that are pretty there and also functional. And in the greenhouse window I've got things that just look lovely, like colored bottles and a small log house with a jade elephant which has great significance to me:-) And there are ceramic things like a moose cookie jar just because I like moose and a rabbit statue, bowls, vases. I try to find things that are both to add happiness around me. There is even a cat oven mit hanging on the trash drawer, just because, and never to use :-)

All old kitchen utensils from 70 years ago and chickens and roosters all over the place.

At the present I have a country decor but I am planning on making a change to more modern style. Easier to clean I am thinking.

I try to be decorative yet functional so let's see... My fave is my 70's cafe curtains that are swirly and orange. Then I've got some trivets with silly sayings up on the wall, I have things my son made that I can't use(for fear they'l break) like a sugar scoop and an egg flip. Oh, the biggest purely decorative non functional coup is the decorated milk bottle I have on my windowsill, I bought it from the Salvation Army, had it for over five years then donated it back during a decluttering/garage sale. I was so upset when I saw My bottle on sale, my partner bought it back for me! I have functional stuff too, toaster, jug, coffee maker etc.. My colour scheme is orange and blue...
