Where is the Intake Air Temperature Sensor in a 96 Mitsubishi eclipse spyder?

I believe it might be coming directly off of the intake tube, if not its somewhere CLOSE! It should be a small grey sometimes black box looking device with a wire feed on it. look closley, cause sometimes when i attempt to do things to my car, im so frustrated or pissed that i sometimes miss the obvious. lol

I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse that blows cool air with the temperature dial turned to hot. The cable on the temperature dial switch is fine and the cool / warm air blend door appears to be flipping correctly. Heater hoses are both up to temperature.
