Why does it take longer for a person to get heatstroke in extremely hot weather than to get hypothermia in extremely cold weasther, on average? In essece, why does hypothermia occur faster than heatstroke for the human body?

    Because the human body is more adapted to preventing heat strokes. If anything else, just passing out will put it off.

    Whereas if a person passes out due to hypothermia, it makes the problem worse.
