New York City is an amazing place. Do all the usual tourist stuff and drop by ESPN Zone for dinner if you like sports you will love it!

Everyone says the same crap - Time Square. Why would you want to visit some place where you're shuffled about like cattle to remove you from your money? Hey, if that's your thing, by all means. I'd say enjoy the night life. There's the World Famous Comic Strip Live. Many a famous comedian had started out there. Go to East 90th & 2nd avenue on a Friday or Saturday night and walk South on either side of the street for as long as you can stand it. You'll run into all sorts of bars and restaurants. Not your thing? Take the 6 train to Astor Place. Go up toward Broadway and walk toward Houston Street. Ask for directions for Thompson Square park (it's in the area). It's where the NY crowd hangs. Just walk around, you're bound to find something.
