What are some examples of a word, that when one letter is removed, become a different actual word, and not just a misspelling of the original one?

"loose" is an actual word as well as a frequent misspelling of "lose"

The most obvious example would appear to be world which dropping the l becomes word!

Their are plenty of rude ones as well such as count, lass, bump, spoke,
