  • Invasion names: Operation Fuchsia Sequins That's when we let drag queens invade Texas.
  • I like to be in charge of new paint schemes - come up with some really classy colors
  • Paint color names. Have you ever visited the Crayola crayon web pages? Lots of history there .. including all the crayon color names ever used .. from that very first set of 8 crayons in 1903 .. right on through the decades. One surprising bit I learned there (besides seeing all the creative and snazzy color names) was actually social/cultural/political in nature. In 1962, Crayola crayons changed the name of their "flesh" color crayon to "peach" to take away the assumption factor of what color flesh or skin is. Interesting, ey? Anyway .. some of the color names are fabulous!! So why not do that for paint colors? When I got the exterior of my house painted, the guy opened up this big notebook with MANY pages each with mini color sample bits ... minute variations of each tone. Yikes. Downright complicated. But each had a NAME. Too much information! LOL Ok. My choice: paint color names. "Final answer".
  • Invasion names are pretty well standardized with the first letter being that of the Commander and the Theater of Operations. I'd rather go with cars: Tail Chaser, Crapheap, Arab's Amigo, Second Mortgage, etc.
  • I'd go for paint names. My Edsel suggestion didn't seem to sell that well, and look what Operation Enduring Freedom has gotten us. :)
