its safe if you take proper precautions to prevent pregnancy. this is your most fertile time in your cycle. although be aware that the cycle is not an exact science and you should ALWAYS use birth control no matter the date to prevent unwanted pregnancy.

It's safe to have intercourse DURING menstruation, and it can sometimes help to alleviate the pain that many women endure. Just be sure to ALWAYS use a condom, and keep plenty of old towels handy to clean up. Or if the sight of blood is an issue there's always shower sex. Oh, and did I mention that it's best to ALWAYS use a condom? If not, here goes again: ALWAYS use a condom, whether it's that time of the month or not.
