How does a one sim card work. i need to receive calls in my car phone via my handset there is a sim card in the car and i currently have to set handset to call divert everytime i get in and out of the car.

There shouldn't be a SIM card in your car unless your car actually has a phone built into it. Do you have one phone number in the car and another in your phone? That would be the only way if there are two SIM cards (two different numbers). Do you just have bluetooth in the car and you are asking about answering or talking on the phone in the car versus the handset? Let me know and I am happy to try to help you. Thanks. SukiSue
