Go to the pharmacy and in the infant med section get some Baby Oragel. You rub it on babies gums when they are teathing. Numbs it for a while.

vicodine and jack daniels.. (not necessarily to drink but to rinse the area that is hurting you)
it worked for me..
or you could choose to drink it.. :)
