Help answer this question below.

Has anyone out there had a positive experience with www.Norml.com, or its national organization? This is the org. that believes marijuana should be legalized for adults only, medicinal use and/or adult recreational use?

    When I was 15, I attended a rally sponsored by NORML. I believe they still hold it each year, on the Mall in Washington, D.C. on July 4th. It was a terrific time, so many nice people and so much herb being passed around~! If you live near D.C. you ought to check it out. I was too young to get into the politics of it all, and I think I would enjoy it much more were I to attend now.

    what kind of experience? I don't know if they really do outreach. Do you mean being involved, or a member? And was it positive in terms of what?

    I recently became a member and got a T-shirt from NORML.

    MPP seems to have more of a lobbying approach which seems like a better approach to me, so I joined both.

    I get an e-newsletter from both of them when there is an action alert for my state, sounds kinda strange "action alert" but hey it's a War on Drugs(prohibition). Usually it's legislation coming up that I need to write and e-mail my Senate and House members an encouraging letter about.

    NORML does more with trying to change the social acceptance which is huge too, they place adds and such. MPP was created I believe when some people at NORML were infighting and decided to break.

    The first video was funded through the MPP grant program.

    The second is a NORML advertisement airing in select areas only unfortunately.
