Say you bumped into the back of an F150 at a stop light. all that happened was your foot slipped off the brake. is there a possibility of unseen (non-cosmetic) damage on the truck?

    I highly doubt it. I bumped in to someone coming off of the freeway once doing like 10 MPH and nothing happened to either of our cars. If you just rolled backwards, I doubt you could do any damage to the car what-so-ever. If she claims there was damage, I would call bullshit and ask for proof.

    Define bump.

    I have answered many rearend collisions, big and small.

    Keep in mind, that replacing a vehicles bumper, costs in the neighborhood of $500.00.

    This is cosmetic.

    Internal damage would be minimal, depending on the speed of the at-fault vehicle from behind.

    Acually, i need more information.

    update for all who answered:

    she called my insurance (because it was the only number she had) and she apologized for being rude to me and she is not filing a claim. so YAY! im alright and i feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. thanks to all of you who were kind enough to answer and reassure me!
