  • I believe you have to run those wires from the brake box all the way to the rear of truck yourself..Not positive if they are in chassis harness. Follow the instructions in your brake unit..it should tell you.
  • Those wires are what the trailering package would give you. You need to run a 10 gauge red wire from the battery to the back of the truck. Make sure you install a fuse holder and a 30 amp fuse. This supplies 12 volts to the trailer to run lights, charge the battery ect. You also need to run a 10 gauge blue wire from the brake controller to the back of the truck this is the wire that applies the brakes. Don't forget to check the ground wires (the white ones) on both the truck and trailer. They are often overlooked and can cause lots of problems if they are loose or rusty.
