Our world is politically and commercially seriously messed up, do you think it is possible to rectify this situation without either a major war or economic collapse?

    The entire situation is quite frightening indeed!

    I think a major war (aside from what is going on in the Middle East presently) will be averted, barely...IMHO. Cooler heads in power in our allied nations will prevail.

    Economic collapse is a real possiblility. Urgent action is needed ASAP by all concerned parties in Washington, corporate leadership and the US's trading partners. The hemorraging cash-flow and deficit spending on military expenses must be curtailed ASAP. Domestic employment in meaningful positions must reappear and be filled to help forstall any further lack in our economic engine.

    We need to get past the partisan bickering and left vs. right finger pointing garbage and work together on a "Manhattan Project" sized effort to work on the numerous major problems in the USA and the world.
