The Pope has a new enviromental policy relating it to relgion, would this improve the problem? How do u feel about this?

God did tell Adam and Eve to tend(subdue) the EARTH ....i think that includes us too...HE gave us all we needed..plants, fruit trees, animals , water and sun....all Believers should have an environmental policy....

I agree to, but some of my Catholic freinds think it is one of those minor laws, and some of my protastant frends think that it is the Pope just trying to controll the world. But I think it is the answer to the environmentalist prayers

I wrote a new question out about the enviorment and the church. I would really like your answer Barbe.
I'm Catholic, and their are still Catholic's who don't accept this into your teachings. My preist said that it won't work inless other Catholics belive 2. I know your not Catholic, but can you help. Seeing your piture, I assume your an enviromentalist.

I think it's welcome for all religious leaders to provide leadership on environmental issues: the Earth needs all the advocates it can get, what with the population growing out of control, a heavy load of humans who think they have no obligation to care for the planet, and the threat of global warming as a reminder that we could very easily bring down the very system we depend on for life.

So yeah: he should speak up. And Catholics should listen.
