How would you react if you bought something and you knew 100% that you handed the cashier the right amount and then they counted it and said your missing ___ much. When you know 100% you gave it to them.

I would have them get their manager, we are going to count the drawer right now, to make sure.

Thanks, but see the problem was I supposedly gave him only 1 $50, but I know for a fact I gave him two. I think he hid it on the floor behind the counter or something because I know it didn't fall out of my money clip or anything like that. Thanks for your answer! : )

Then we would be doing a search, pockets and all, thats a lot of money. Its hard to lose money from a clip.

I searched my pockets, the floor, and everything, but I think the guy ripped me off. He was whispering with the other cashier behind the counter and I would have put up a fight just he was a pretty scary looking guy. Haha

When I used to cashier, back in the day, I had a customer accuse me of giving her the wrong change, She said she gave me a $50, she gave me a twenty, I didnt have any $50 bills, I had just started, the manager had to count the drawer, have me empty my pockets, she looked around on the floor, etc, there are some out their that try to scam cashiers that way. You have to be creful on either side of the register.
