Blood banks say those who have been to Germany for more than 6 months cannot donate blood because we might have CJD (human variant of Mad Cow Disease), but I've not lived in Germany for 17 years now! Certainly CJD won't happen to me if it hasn't already?

• I have to agree with you, its just such a shame the cattle got the disease from Man's meddling with their food to increase production,there's nothing better than to see a herd of cattle grazing on grass and other natural fodder. I detest all factory farming...there thats better,smiles.

• Yes, its frightening,fish may be the next, fish farms are feeding captive fish all manner of unatural foods to boost production eg re-processed dried chicken, well thats pretty 'fowl' for a start!smiles.

• On what grounds did they base that 10-20+ years assumption?? What evidence backs this up?? Otherwise, it's an unfounded claim.
