2002 chevy s10, runs for 5sec,s to 10 min,s stops as if key was shut off has new ignition mod. and new fuel pump and ingectors instaled last summer

    Besides the above suggestion, two thoughts:

    1. Did you replace the fuel filter(s) when you replaced the pump and injectors? If the filter is clogged, the fuel can't get through it effectively. The car might get fuel for a few minutes, and then the crud might shift and block the line.

    2. It has been very cold for the last couple of weeks. Have you been keeping your tank full? Moisture will condense on any part of the tank that is exposed. If you let the tank get low and then fill it, the moisture ends up in the gas, and it doesn't take much water in the gas to shut the engine down. Although it would probably run a little rough beside just stalling.

    Do you have an oil pressure gauge? If you having problems with it your chevy will shut down to protect itself if oil pressure is too low. Happened to me when I had a 95 S-10 in the middle of the busyest intercetion in the state!!! NOT FUN!!!
