Seriously though there isn't really a correlation unless you are specifically talking about audio or video files at a fixed bitrate and most MP3 player manufacturer's include a rough guide to that sort of information with the specifications of each player.
  • Sorry to keep shooting down your questions, Suze, but this depends on the bit rate of each song. A quick look at my personal collection, though, reveals that the first gigabyte of songs comprises 14 and a half hours of music.
  • It will depend on the bitrate. Higher bitrates take up more space than lower ones, so ideally you want a balance where sound isn't compromised to any great extent, but you're also not eating up all of your space.
