I think it might be different for each woman. For me, there are several things that are wonderful about it.

From the strictly physical aspect, I have much more intense orgasms with something filling me up back there. In fact, I've gotten to the point where every time I masturbate, I have a dildo or an anal plug inside of me. It just intensifies the pleasure so much, that it's unthinkable for me not to use a toy. Why not have the best orgasm you can have, if you are going to the effort of having one?

It's actually easier for me to orgasm with anal sex than it is with vaginal sex. Don't get me wrong, I love it the regular way, and sometimes I need it that way and nothing else will satisfy, but...it's still easier for me to cum with a man in my ass.

From a psychological standpoint, I have a strong submissive bent, and this satisfies some of those feelings for me. I'm letting a man enter my most secret, shameful space, and I'm letting him have the power to either hurt me terribly (if he does it wrong) or give me a mind-blowing orgasm (if he does it right.)

It also makes me feel very slutty to have anal sex, because it's supposed to be forbidden, and I love, love, love feeling slutty. :)
